Look, maps aren’t infographics. He can be the grandfather of GIS, but a good geographical representation of data is not an infographic, any more than a graph is an infographic.. Infographics use a series of pictures, graphs, maps and other creative visualizations of data to tell a story. Maps are maps, however well done and informative they may be.
